Register Your Business for White River Valley Museum's Festival of Trees

The White River Valley Museum is inviting local businesses and organizations to participate in this year's Festival of Trees, on display November 18, 2026, through January 3, 2027.

Each year, the Festival of Trees transforms the museum into a festive holiday exhibit featuring creatively decorated trees sponsored by community organizations. Last year, nearly 1,300 visitors stopped by to enjoy the display.

This year's theme is "Feature Flix," giving participants the opportunity to decorate a tree inspired by a favorite movie or film genre.

There is no cost to participate. The first 15 registered organizations will be provided with an artificial tree by the museum. Due to growing interest, the exhibit has expanded to accommodate up to 20 trees. Organizations registering after the first 15 will need to provide their own artificial tree.

Important dates:

  • Registration deadline: October 30, 2026 (register early for the best selection of movie themes)

  • Tree decorating days: November 12–13, 2026

  • Exhibit dates: November 18, 2026 – January 3, 2027

This is a fun opportunity to showcase your organization, connect with the community, and spread some holiday cheer. The museum also notes that supplies purchased to decorate your tree qualify as an advertising tax write-off!
