Why Support Cardia Vision
Cardia Vision, an initiative of the Blue Auburn Resilience Foundation, is dedicated to protecting the heart health of those who protect our communities. Law enforcement officers face extraordinary physical and emotional stress, placing them at significantly higher risk for cardiovascular disease than the general population.
The average age for an officer to experience their first heart attack is just 46 years old. According to the CDC, officers are 25 times more likely to die from a heart attack than to be killed in the line of duty. As a result, the average life expectancy of a law enforcement officer is nearly 18 years shorter than that of the general population.Cardia Vision exists to change that reality.
Through this initiative, donations directly support two officers by providing access to preventive cardiac care, early detection, education, and wellness resources designed to identify risks before they become life-threatening. Rather than responding to tragedy after it occurs, Cardia Vision focuses on prevention, sustainability, and long-term health outcomes.
