King County will provide one-time grant funding to cultural organizations and businesses located in King County that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grant funding comes from a $19.5 million Arts and Culture Fund. Funding is intended to help organizations prepare their facilities for reopening, to bring the people of King County together in a safe environment and to re-employ arts and culture sector workers.
Grant funding is available to eligible organizations and businesses in the arts and cultural sector, independent live music venues and movie theaters. Applications are due by October 18th, 2021.
