The Economic Development Board Vitality Grant aims to help Pierce County community organizations and small businesses

Federal CARES Act dollars provided through the Washington State Departent of Commerce are now being used to design a new program to assist Pierce County community organizations and small businesses.

Launched on Wednesday, September 9th, the Economic Development Board Vitality Grant will accept applications from Pierce County small businesses through Sunday, September 20th, 2020.

In total, $580,250 in CARES Act dollars have been allocated to this program, with $90,250 going to community organizations and $490,000 available for small businesses in increments of $5,000 grants.
