Maintaining Trust and Transparency in Our Community

We are reaching out to let you know that the AACC Executive Committee is aware of a recent KIRO Newsradio article referencing activities connected to community leadership and local institutions.

While the Chamber was not the focus of the reporting, we recognize that any time our name is mentioned publicly, it reflects on the broader business community we represent. As an organization that values trust, integrity, and transparency, we believe it’s our responsibility to engage proactively.

To that end:

  • We are reviewing the facts and gathering information to understand the full context of the matter, including individual actions and how they may reflect on the Chamber and the business community we represent.

  • We recognize the seriousness of the issues raised and the potential impact on the trust and reputation of our business and civic community.

  • Our goal is to learn from this experience, grow as an organization, and ensure that our practices and partnerships reflect the high ethical standards that our members expect and deserve.

As we continue to gather information, we’ll keep you informed if any developments relevant to the Chamber or our operations arise. We appreciate your continued support and your shared commitment to maintaining a strong, respectful, and unified Auburn business community.

Sincerely,

Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee
