AUBURN AREA CONNECT SPOTLIGHT ON BUSINESSES AWARD CATEGORIES
The following categories are open for nomination for the Auburn Area CONNECT Spotlight on Businesses Awards. Nominators and Nominees do not need to be Auburn Area CONNECT Members.
CONNECT Achieve Award | Recognizing a business that has excelled in creating, implementing, or supporting education and/or workforce development.
CONNECT Large Business Award | A business with 26 or more employees that supports the business community in innovative ways through volunteer engagement, financial sponsorship commitments, meaningful partnerships, and exemplary service and commitment to fellow Auburn Area businesses and community.
CONNECT Small Business Award | A small business with 25 or fewer employees that stands out among the landscape of Auburn Area business base by one or more of the following: mission-driven work; providing unique products and/or services; demonstrating a willingness to continue to engage and enhance our chamber membership. An example might be a family-owned business or a solo business owner who embodies what it means to be a successful entrepreneur while also being involved in the community.
CONNECT Champion Award | Recognizing a business who has been a catalyst for change regarding workplace diversity and inclusion and/or implemented innovative job retention, creation, benefits, and/or compensation plans that foster a thriving work environment.
CONNECT Impact (Bill Kyle) Award | This award recognizes a business or individual that has contributed outstanding legislative impact to the Auburn Area.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please submit a completed nomination form with the below information, along with a nomination statement. Email or mail to the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce. Submissions must be in no later than May 3, 2024. All Auburn Area businesses are eligible — judges will determine winners based on the content, impact, and relevance to the award in which they are nominated for.
